A Look into Apple's First Wearable Device

The launching of the Apple Watch marks the exciting entry of Apple in to the domain of wearable technology. This device is meant for monitoring fitness and health, and tracking the movement activity and heart rate of the user through its built-in sensors. The smartwatch will then send the information into Apple’s Health App for the iPad and iPhone so the user will be able to review and analyze the data. All Apple smartwatches will be paired with an iPhone using Bluetooth so data will be easily synced. This wearable device is also compatible with iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus. According to reports, the release will be made early this year, with a starting price of $349 within the US.

Apple made it a point that a couple of their popular and useful apps will be available on the smartwatch as well. This would include Siri, the voice-control tool, iMessages, Maps, and other information focused iPhone apps.
